Yetunde Folajimi  

Dr. Yetunde Folajimi is an Associate Professor  at the School of computing and Data Science, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. With a Ph.D. in computer science, her research interests lie in the areas of artificial intelligence, gaming, natural language processing, and recommender systems, and their applications in health and safety education, adult education, Child Education, youth empowerment, and women empowerment. She has served as an advisor to over 100 undergraduate and graduate research projects and has about 20 years of faculty/research experience working with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds in interdisciplinary fields all over the world and has published over 40 publications, in reputable journals and conferences. She is a recipient of many international awards and recognition from prestigious organizations, such as Schlumberger Foundation and commonwealth institute of international education, MacArthur foundation, and Wentworth institute of technology presidential epic award. She is the pioneer Chair of the Ibadan Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Chapter and has attended and served on roughly twenty conferences and workshops, and journals. With a strong passion to promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging, she implements strategies to motivate more girls and women into Computer Science with the objective of actively engaging them in science and technology.  

Mehmet Ergezer 

Mehmet Ergezer holds a Doctor of Engineering degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH. He is an Associate Professor of Computing and Data Science at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA with interest in embedded systems and computational intelligence. He has co-authored publications on artificial intelligence and computer science education and holds consumer electronics patents in the USA and Europe. 

Along with technical competencies, Dr. Ergezer is also focused on increasing undergraduate students' intercultural competence and led a semester-long study abroad in Berlin, Germany, and held the leadership role in broadening participation in AI as the co-founder/co-chair for AAAI Undergraduate Consortium.  

Salem Othman 

Dr. Salem Othman is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Data Science, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Dr. Othman received a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science from two different universities in Libya. He also received a doctorate in Computer Science from Kent State University, OH, USA. Since 2006 he has taught at college level, both in Libya and in the United States.  His research interests include Online Social Network analysis, Computational Modeling and Simulation, Machine Learning, Emojiset Mining, and Epidemiology. He has co-authored peer-reviewed publications on a broad range of topics. These topics vary but can include subjects such as discovering bloom taxonomic relationships between knowledge units using semantic graph triangularity mining to the impact of online social community platforms on the elderly daily activities and automatic extraction of Emojiset. His work has appeared in the International Journal of Future Generation Communication and Networking; International Conference on Social Computing, Behavioral-Cultural Modeling, and Prediction, Computing Conference 2021, and SIMULTECH Conference 2021.
